Basement Crawl is a grid-based game for multiple players in which you bomb things. As one of four different characters, each with slightly different starting stats (one is a bit faster, one has a bit more health, and so on), you lay down bombs--sorry, "traps"--which explode in straight lines in four directions: up, down, left, and right.
Basement Crawl’s netcode is so broken you’ll likely spend more time trying to get into a match than actually playing. I’ve spent tens of minutes entering and backing out of blank lobby screens.
Basement Crawl es, básicamente, y como sospecharéis, un juego que coge el sistema de juego de Bomberman, lo envuelve en una apariencia siniestra y lo enfoca por completo al multijugador.
Basement Crawl starts off with one of the most interesting premises I've seen in a downloadable game in quite some time.

Basement Crawl keeps the same basic “avoid trapping yourself in the path of the explosion” gameplay, so the transition from the light-hearted Bomberman to this is fairly seamless.
There isn’t a lot to speak of in Basement Crawl, and all of what the game has to offer can be experienced in less time that it takes to watch an episode of Adventure Time.
