The best baseball game on the market. The new analog controls are largely an improvement over the button controls of yore, and Road to the Show has never been better. It's somewhat disappointing that certain drawbacks persist, but at its best, MLB 11 provides a beautiful, unparalleled simulation of America's pastime.
While many of the modes are just new paint jobs, the Road to the Show mode and co-op play are two features that have been addressed and done very well.
Baseball fans are obsessed with details and the development team behind MLB 11: The Show knows this. No complaint can be made about a lack of depth. Oh, and it's a lot of fun, too!
Even though MLB 11: The Show is an undeniably great baseball game, it is stuck in a bit of a rut with just subtle refinements setting it apart from its predecessor.
